Investment highlights Givaudan’s continued commitment to expanding its operational presence in the region
Givaudan, a global leader in Taste & Wellbeing, has acquired land for a new, state-of-the-art liquids production facility in West Harrison, Indiana. Located directly on the Indiana-Ohio border within the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area, the site will complement the Company’s existing facility network and represents a step forward in expanding its operational footprint across North America. The initial investment of CHF 187 million (USD 215 million) will support a facility spanning 24,000 square metres.
This land purchase follows a strategic evaluation of Givaudan’s operational footprint to meet regional demands. The West Harrison location allows Givaudan to accelerate its build timeline while ensuring seamless job retention and commute continuity for its existing workforce. Concurrently, Givaudan is working closely with economic development partners and local leadership to transition its former Reading, Ohio property back to the community for new economic development opportunities.
