Leaders from the I-74 Business Corridor recently joined thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem builders from around the world at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) Indiana 2025, held in Indianapolis.
Hosted by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and the Global Entrepreneurship Network, GEC Indiana 2025 marked only the second time the United States has hosted the prestigious international convening. With nearly 150 countries represented, the conference explored how bold ideas—from AI-powered innovation to grassroots small-business support—can drive inclusive economic growth under the theme “The Bold Change the World.”
Attendees heard from national and global leaders including Mike Braun and Mark Cuban, while engaging in conversations focused on building strong, resilient entrepreneurship ecosystems—particularly in rural and regional communities like those along the I-74 corridor.
Participation in GEC Indiana 2025 reinforces the I-74 Business Corridor’s mission to collaborate across county lines, elevate entrepreneurship, and position Southeast Indiana as a competitive, connected place for businesses and innovators to start, grow, and thrive.
